 HERITAGE UNDER ATTACK !
Do you know that Hotham House, a rare 1914 Federation home in the grounds of President Private Hospital is in imminent danger of being demolished for a car park?

It was saved from demolition by the actions of many concerned Sutherland Shire citizens ,

Your Council ordered a report and found it had significant heritage value

This house was the centre of the biggest poultry operation in Australia from the 1920s to 1950s. Its significance relates to agriculture and food production in the Shire. Its magnificent ballroom was the centre of much social life.
Does this concern you? Are you concerned about the loss of one of the few historic buildings remaining in the Shire? View the house at 63 - 65 Hotham Road Gymea.
