As we are entering 2024 we are looking for volunteers to help us on a variety of projects including :
SSHS has volunteer bbqs , Christmas in Winter luncheon and other functions for our volunteers to socialise and get together .
We have attached SSHS Organisation Chart to assist you in a role volunteering for the Society.
- cataloguing and accessioning museum objects, photos, books, maps etc.
- maintenance and upkeep of the museum
- changing and creating new displays
- researching
- becoming part of the museum tour group
- editing publications including The Bulletin
- being part of the catering team for functions and meetings
- assist in organising excursions
- many other activities.
